To win control of the Senate, we HAVE to win either VA or TN. PLUS, we have
to win Montana and Missourri. The last two, I'm not nearly as worried about.

TN seems out of the question- just my preliminary assessment, wouldn't put too much in it.

So, that means we have to win VA to take the Senate.

(and MT and MO).

4. Webb Lost
He has been trailing the entire time... it was very close, but he will lose by 20k votes... exit polls were wrong.

12. Yeah, or how about the election was rigged.
Why is it so very wrong in that single state?

6. Still an excellent night for Democrats, regardless of the VA results
Even if Republicans hold the majority, it will be a razor thin one. Bush will have a tough time getting any more extremist judicial nominees confirmed if the Democrats stick together. If there's a need for a filibuster, we may very well have the votes we need already! However, if we do win the Senate, it will be SWEET!!

14. Here Here

Keep in mind...the seats we were going after were largely in Red States...freaking Virginia, Tennessee, Arizona, Montana? COme the hell on....We blew out PA and RI....we knocked down several big baskets and look out for the House.

Think what this will do between now and 2008? Rest assured, tonight is becomming a HUGE night...to sweep TN, VA, MT, and MO was just not realistics. I called Virginia for Allen today, because I live in Virginia and this state is full of neo-confederate idiots...Allen is one of them, they guy is an idol to them.

He is toast in a national election however.
