1. I know this is mean - but I thought it was a boy. But I understand her being disappointed
that her father lost.

2. In fairness -
As a woman who's father ran for US Congress and State Senate (MI) when I was a child - campaigns are family affairs. Children are emotionally invested in their parent's campaigns, and very much a part of it. EVEN when conceding the race.

Santorum may be a pig-fucking asshole - but cut him some slack on this one. His daughter would likely be more upset if she'd been left out.

9. I frankly think the way his kids behaved reflected what a lousy parent he
must be.

17. I was somewhat weepy as a child as well. Say somethin' about my daddy
I dare you.

That's a ludicrous line of thought, imo. His kids weren't kicking and screaming and running around, were they?

21. They have the same sense of entitlement as their dumb shit daddy.
Do you think he taught them about democracy, about sometimes you win sometimes you lose?

I don't.

I wonder if he cried when Sick Rick brought home a dead baby.

12. Sadly, no, she's got years of therapy to look forward to.
I'm sure he's convinced them that Casey is the devil and they think Satan is going to rule Pennsylvania now. People who fuck with their kids' heads like that apall me. I liked Ann Richard's perspective from 1994: "We lost the election; it's not the end of the world."

14. That's what I was going to say, too. He screwed up those kids long ago.
Edited on Wed Nov-08-06 01:49 AM by txindy
His daughter is too old to be lugging around a doll? Gee, could it have anything to do with her parents bringing home their dead baby to 'play' with its brothers and sisters before they finally buried him? This family is truly freakish.

28. The doll? It was creepy, esp. knowing the backstory about the baby.
Those kids are so twisted. They're home-schooled by their nutjob parents, too. No chance at all for sane influences to enter their lives.

God only knows the kind of shit getting fed into those kids heads by their lunatic parents.

19. The "Family Guy" front is more important than his daughters emotional health.
Edited on Wed Nov-08-06 01:36 AM by casus belli
The Republicans don't get it, they most likely never will. For God's sake man, stop putting on the wholesome family guy image for a moment and hug your daughter. If you were a real family man, the speech would have waited until your daughter was ok.

I'm not going to pick on the kid - but hey, at least daddy can now spend more time with her.

In this one Ricky looks like he is crying.

23. both kids were bawling
typical of him to use them as pawns AGAIN. Those pictures will be everywhere. Poor kids.

Well, not really, huh? That little girl seemed to be clutching an American Girl ( what else?) doll and the two of them- the girl and the doll seem to have the matching outfits supplied by the same company. That is about 400 bucks of stuff.

gag me.

I am OVERJOYED to be rid of that prick. been subjected to his commercials every 30 seconds for weeks. Part of the bliss tonight was NOT seeing them anymore.

He will most likely be a greeter at Wal- Mart by next week.
