Talent beats McCaskill by a hair in St. Charles precinct
I just finished working as an election judge in a heavily Republican district in St. Charles County Missouri.

Since we have all-electronic voting machines (optical scan & touch screen), we are privy to the vote counts.

The bad news is Talent beat McCaskill...

...the good news is that Talent beat McCaskill by only 4 votes out of 550+.

This bodes well for the rest of the state, I think.

Also on our ballot was the so-called Stem Cell Initiative, which permits the same level of research on stem cells as at the Federal level. It passed in our precinct, by a decent margin.

Another item of interest was raising the minimum wage, which also passed.

2. Welcome to DU, Bcool !
Thanks for working the polls in MO...

I grew up in St. Louis County, visited St. Charles only a few times - but liked it quite a lot.

3. I'm especially..
... rooting for McCaskill. She's great, and Talent is a douche bag with a capital D. :)
