What cost Webb was George Allen is the 2nd coming of Jefferson Davis...he can't lose...Webb was amazing to make it this close. Next consitutional amendment here? Slavery!!!!

6. I think the real issue was Gay Marriage
Brought lots of folks out. I figure once my rights are banned by all 50 states, we'll have a new issue for them to motivate their base.

10. I looked at locality totals too....vote tallies in most areas
seems to favor dems by wider margins. Looking at about half of the areas, Webb margins are significant when ahead....Allen margins are slight when he's ahead. I don't see where the Allen votes come from...

...of course, I would have to look at all the localities to be sure...but I see the same thing as in your OP...looking at localities it looks like Webb should be way up.

14. The southern-central counties are heavy Allen votes
Bedford county, Allen doubled webbs votes (leads by 8k in that county).
