We are getting closer, though Webb is gonna come up short tonight, he did very well. Six months ago we would have laughed had anyone said Allen would come this close to losing. And we did accomplish the goal of ruining his Presidential chances...

John Warner will probably retire in 2 years...Webb would be a prohibitive favorite for that seat (If Warner passes on it...he may run for Governor again in 2009)

A significant portion of Virginia Men are still stuck in 1861, still think the South will rise again, and if pressed would admit they didn't think slavery was all that bad...

The culture is slowly changing...and Northern Virginia is the fastest growing part of the state...

Alot to build on here!!!

4. DEM Heath Shuler WINS in NC! Shift happens, slowly.
Yea, he's a conservative Dem - but he still took out a rethug.

2. I don't think Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, or the Carolinas will be competitive
I just don't see it, and I live here in Mississippi. The only way they'd vote for a Dem is if he were anti-gay marriage, anti-choice, but leftist on economic issues.

3. I think your right
Harold Ford is doing well here in TN too. But I'm not sure if he can pick up the seat. I think if the dems work hard and can field a candidate with a more populous message. TN can go blue.

the right will wake up and see how stupid their fight over it was....we leave Iraq and things get better at home financially and in other ways...and they see we are right....we come up with alternative for gas or better cars....and they open their eyes!!!

8. Fuck the South.
Read the book "Whistling Past Dixie".

We aren't going to affect the rednex for a generation or two.
Better to go after the Midwest and Southwest.
