Good job to DU.

She has been miserably sick today, but was so happy about Ohio it all seemed to fade for a brief moment.

She's been calling me on the phone from her bedroom as she watches the returns, and I am in basement online here while daughter is playing. I think she finally fell asleep, and I am hoping she has many happy dreams tonight :)

A BIG thank you to all of you and those dems who got out and voted, made calls, handing out pamphlets, and on and on. And for each DU'er for keeping a light on here for America and not giving up.

I know we fight and bitch at each other here at times, we disagree over various things, but in the end our big tent did not get blown over by the winds of the republican war and hate

I am sure we will be back to arguing soon over everything under the sun and how dems should do this or not that :) but hey, that is a good sign to me that we are, and always will be, free thinkers - unlike the robots on the right.

Thanks for tonight, thanks for Ohio, and thanks for making my wife smile and get pumped up when she feels like she was run over by a truck which then backed up and parked on her.

Dr gave her some meds today and she should be cleared up in a few days - but the meds she got tonight from the election were a great prescription for a much longer pain.

Time for some more beer and something a little stronger :)

6. Give her our best, hope she's feeling better soon
Glad she's enjoying the results tonight, there's good reason to celebrate.

Both of you take care and we'll work on making sure our newly elected Dems get to work on funding more research and a good health care program for everyone.

11. I'm sorry she's so sick
As soon as she kicks the pneumonia and flu, have her get in touch with me. I owe her some coffee and conversation.

Give her a hug for me.

14. Will do
She gets pneumonia a few times a year it seems :( She also found a big lump behind her ear tonight so we are going back to the Doc next Wednesday. Hopefully just a big bug bite or something, but when it rains it freakin pours.
