Speaker Pelosi, Speaker Pelosi, Speaker Pelosi.
I just keeping repeating it, like a mantra.

Now, The Nance and I disagree on a few issues, no doubt, but I keep mumbling it to myself anyway, and I just can't shake these thoughts:

The first woman.

The first San Franciscan.

The first Italian-American.

The first Catholic (I think).

And I've never been so proud to be a San Francisco Bay Area Italian-(recovering)-Catholic-American in my life.

I can't adore her unconditionally the way I will-until-the-day-I-die the Kennedys, but day-umn! I just want to scream, "Ti amo, paisana! Oggi, siamo famiglia genuina!"
