4. Memphis 10 o'clock newscast said...
that people in Memphis and Nashville are still standing in line to vote. They were encouraged not to leave - anyone who stays in line will be able to vote. These areas have a good chance of leaning towards Ford.

11. MSNBC saying that Ford has lost in TN
Edited on Wed Nov-08-06 12:34 AM by W_HAMILTON
They're saying it's not a projection either, but the final total.

Kinda stinks, but it seems like we're all pinning our hopes on Virginia, Missouri, and Montana anyway.

14. I hope the stories are true about polls in the cities still being open very late
Middle-aged white folks of both genders seem to have fallen for the racist shit hook-line-and-sinker. Exit polls on CNN seemed to indicate that anyway.

Cspan had reported it called for Corker but then retracted it.

15. I'm sad that racism has apparently won tonight in Tennessee,
a state where I used to live and work.

Al Gore was a senator when I was there.

Good times no more.
