Are we just cheering individual races at this point?
The Senate is lost, no?

3. It's not over yet.
If we hold on in Montana and Virginia, we will need Missouri to win.

4. First, we couldn't lose it, because we didn't have it.
And second, it's either tied, or if we pull off Missouri, we win by 1.

6. We can still take it....
If we hold on to VA and get MI and MO. Which we can, I believe.

8. Webb looks to have a tiny tiny lead in VA with 100% in
Edited on Wed Nov-08-06 12:42 AM by DinoBoy
Tester is leading big time in MT. Ford is behind by a small amount in TN (but probably will not win), and McCaskill is behind by a small amount with the urban precincts yet to report.

If we win 3 of those 4 (very possble) we have 51 in the senate. If we win 2 of them (even more possble) we have a tie in the senate.

11. Not lost yet.
Hence the almost obsessive attention being paid to the three races in VA, MO, and TN. ;-)

12. But... no matter how well we do..
Which by the way... I love how we're doing tonight... but we still have Cheney and Lieberman voting with the Republicans.

17. Do you mean Montana
MI is Michigan

so we needed six to take 51 if you counted LIEberman which as you state may still be a problem

so we got OH, PA, RI and looks like maybe VA

MT apparently looks good
and maybe MO

so there is our six

but look out for LIEberman - he caucuses with the repunks and Cheney will be casting the tie vote and the committe chairs are ALL SCREWED up probably...
