As an IT professional who discovered and became active in the fight to stop the use of paperless touchscreen voting in early 2003 before it was widely known and recognized as a threat, I find it particularly amusing to see the beginning of a recount fight (Webb/Allen) with the Republicans on the downhill side of the issue.

Virginia uses a wide mix of optical scan and paperless... how the hell do they think they will recount that crap?

Shit heads wouldn't let us have our "up or down vote" on Rush Holt's HR2239 or HR550, or the several Senate bills, and now they face the challenge that we warned them about.
