When did this happen???!

Our news here on the East Coast JUST cut out before Webb took the lead!!! I thought it was over because Webb was my big rooting interest and everyone I root for always loses (I can't watch sports with my family).

Even though even Fox 5 refused to say Allen was "still ahead"... although they came mighty close saying "Webb seems confident, perhaps he has access to numbers we don't have..." The 10,000 vote margin stayed from 50% precincts reporting until 95% reporting... as if SOMEONE were delaying the precincts in Prince William and Loudoun County for some reason...

Then they cut from Jay Leno to report the race was almost tied all of a sudden with 99.5% reporting...

Then they went to reruns and cut to an Allen speech and I thought, oh no, it's over. Until I noticed NO ONE was cheering....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One thing I would have lost faith in America if Repubs had kept the senate solely because of Allen the racist. And knowing Rove, it would have been used to VINDICATE him and cast him as the underdog front runner attuned to angry white america! :grr:
