3. I would like to beg Rep. Conyers to PLEASE do some major

housecleaning in Washington. We need real change and we need it now. Top issues:

1. We NEED hand-counted paper ballots.
2. We NEED to limit--no, ELIMINATE!--corporate influence in politics.
3. We NEED to make sure the news media isn't controlled by corporate influences.
4. We NEED to work on environmental issues and alternative fuel sources as if our very lives depended upon it (because they do).
5. We NEED health care for everyone.
6. We NEED to get the fuck out of Iraq and stop letting Republicans make new enemies for us to fight every few years.

Yes, I'm asking the Democrats to stand and deliver even now on election night. Of course I'd like to thank everyone who made this election such a success, but unless the Dems fight tooth and nail they will squander their victory.

A lot of us have lost hope these past few years. I'm asking Representative Conyers to do his dead-level best to turn things around before it's too late.
