For the first time since 2000, I'm proud of our country!
Despite the fear, despite the fix, and despite the media, Americans took back their country today.

I have never been more proud of this country, and never more hopeful about our future.

Thank you Howard Dean. Thank you Al Gore. Thank you Bill Clinton. Thank you John Kerry. Thank you Nancy Pelosi. Thank you Harry Reid. Thank you Keith Olbermann. Thank you DU. Thank you to all the people I have forgotten, ignored, or ignorantly overlooked.

But I especially want to thank America.

We've sunk low, but we still have the capacity and courage to be the land of freedom, and a beacon to the world. May that courage never leave us.

6. OK Just woke and, and the dreams has NOT shattered!

I was afraid to sleep, wondering what would greet me when I woke, but this is what I saw:

Voter rebuke for Bush, the war and the right
End of one-party rule set to transform Bush’s last two years in office
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15618058/

And I'm loving it all over again!

4. I agree. This is one step back from the brink
and the world WILL notice. America is not George W Bush.

If anyone had forgotten--or doubted--that fact, let them be reminded tonight.
