That is still, I believe, larger than the maximum of 11,000 votes required for a mandatory state-run recount. If the Rethuglican Party wants to pay for a recount, I say let them. Webb was ahead by 6% in the exit polls and ends up winning by .5%?! That's beyond the statistical margin of error, so if they want a recount that might dredge up "voting irregularities", I say we have NOTHING TO FEAR AND EVERYTHING TO GAIN! THE SENATE IS OURS!
