5. unless he is given seniority by repubs - they could do that
especially if he gives them the majority he gets to be chairman of some commitee or another

7. It depends on what kind of deal the Rs can offer him
Since he'd lose seniority, it would have to be pretty sweet, but they might just try if it pulls them to 50-50 or 51-49.

Lieberman's not to be trusted, in any case.
