If that's what you're referring to, I think you misunderstood it. They don't mean they've only picked up nine seats (or, as it is now, 11), but that they've picked up enough to get a majority... and then eleven more.

Edited to add: Since 218 is the number for majority, and Fox is saying Majority +11, they're calling 229 seats for the Dems. CNN just had a projection of 226.

Sorry, this is a non-issue.
