Lieberman in CT and Pete King in NY-3

15. Duckworth
I really thought she'd be the one to paint DuPage County blue.

Since Roskam was able to pull this win off in such a toxic environment, we're probably stuck with him for quite awhile.

17. CA-4 CA Governor and Lieberman
It's a sad day. Schwarzenegger is yet again governor, and Doolittle reigns supreme somehow. And also we still have Lieberman to deal with.

18. I was hoping to pick up a CD or two in MI...
...but I guess we really are that badly gerrymandered by the Rethugs. Looks like we have at least gotten our state house back tonite, maybe our senate. Looks like we're stuck with these horrible districts until 2011.

and I'm upset that Debra Bowen (D, Sec of State) is going down to Arnold-installed Bruce (Diebold) McPherson. This race was the biggest sleeper of them all, I think, and didn't get the coverage of some of the high-profile Senate and House races.

Duckworth especially. x(

And the Wilson/Madrid race in NM-1 is looking to be another. Right now Heather Wilson is up by 1000 votes even when polls showed Madriid ahead...but I'll check on that in the morning.
