Sensenbrenner won.
Apparently the people in Wisconsin's 5th district think he's wonderful. I did everything I could.

3. It hurts to find out your neighbors are corrupt morons, trust me I know (TX).
Try to focus on the big nat'l picture, the winds of change are blowing and now YOU are in the majority! The morons are no longer mainstream.

6. Thank God I don't live in his district
but I worked on the Kennedy campaign for 8 months. (I am 30 miles away in Madison WI.) I really thought we'd do much better than this. The people in this district seem to be isolated from the changes in mood taking place nationally. I cannot believe any normal person would vote for Sensenbrenner.

9. I do.
The only thing I can say is that Kennedy got more votes than last time, and came in at a higher percentage. But that's all.

It's a very Republican area.

Hey, at least Doyle won and the Dems took back the State Senate, eh?

10. But the raw number of votes is less than last time.
I am eager to see the breakdown of numbers- at the party he knew he beat Sensenbrenner in some Milwaukee county wards.

4. I am sorry, undeterred. I was rooting for Kennedy. I am consoling
myself with a Rum & Soda, and the thought that he will in the minority on a committee with John Conyers in charge. Excuse me, Tex. That's CHAIRMAN John Conyers now.

Overall, a good night. But we didn't expect to get every scoundrel, did we?

7. don't worry
the first time Speaker Pelosi cuts his microphone, he'll have a massive coronary and die on the House floor.

8. No problem....he's marginalized.
Guess what? All the radical Republicans in Congress are kaput. They are marginalized. If you want to bbe a player in the Democratic Congress, you have to be a moderate player. Olympia Snowe? She's got game. Sensenbrenner? He's marginalized. He's the Lincoln Chafee of the new Congress.

11. I was really hoping that that SOB lost. He won't be the Judiciary Chairman anymore at least.
That's a start.
