Does (almost certainly) losing the Virginia senate
election give George Allen more time to campaign for 2008,
like Romney and Frist both stepping down does?

I could not bear to read any more.

I feel a Marx Brothers quote coming....

3. I also heard an idea to draft Santorum in 2008 floated
Santorum was crushed by Casey almost 2:1 and somebody thinks he'd make a good presidential candidate.

Santorum or Allen are about as likely to be president now as Harold Stassen.

6. That idea was floated by Bill "The Gambler" Bennett.
I'm sure he'd like nothing better than an Opus Dei President. Even if it's a total idiot like Ricky.

7. Missing Link Found on Wingnut Website!!
Some jokes just write themselves.

It would be great if that moron got his (her?) wish, but even the RNC wouldn't be that stupid.

8. George Allen in 2008 would be like having the unintelligent Bush all over again.
Allen is an intellectual lightweight who really lives on his daddy'd football fame. He really doesn have a redeaming feature.

12. No kidding!!
They were spouting some such nonsense on CNN tonight, and all that I could think was that Santorum just got his ass handed to him. There is *no possible way* that they are going to run him!

What weenies :eyes:

10. That's fine Pubs. Go for it!! Rickey can't even win his home State,
and you can't let Allen out in Public to talk for fear of foot in mouth disease!

I say, if that's who you want, do it!

18. The ENTIRE Thread is Freepers trashing each others' "can't win" 08 nominees!
"Why not just run Keyes/Allen? You might top 20%"

"I'll see your 20% and raise you 15% for Keyes/Harris"

14. Felix is finished!!!
and so are Man On Dog Ricky, Con Rad, and Talentless.

If the FReaks think any one of them is presidential material now...well, *some*body's on drugs and it ain't us.

I'm celebrating!!!! Here's to the timely departure of four of the most evil people to infest the Senate. If we could only have gotten rid of Orrin Hatch and Trent Lott and made it a sweep..
