Someone, was it autorank?, gave some great info on an earlier thread about why a recount won't help and neither will pleading to the VA courts. This is cut and dry. Webb won. But let the Repugs prolong their misery if they like. They seem to be into masochism.

As long as there are Democratic observers and lawyers in EVERY recount site making sure that no BS takes place, I will support it. I'm not afraid of a recount. WEBB WON!!! In spite of voter suppression and repuke thuggery, he won, and that's what it would show.

"Automatic" State-paid recount is 1/2%...about 11,500 vote diff. Webb leads by about 11,000 now and the background chatter is that it will mostly grow from there.
