9. ha! I talked to Graf about a month ago |
|
at a U of A voter block party. I am the U Of A SAVE Director. He and I had quite a long conversation, people were like:"What the hell were you two talking about?" Polar political opposites. :) It was cordial though, I was asking him the most unfair questions ever about things like correlating the Cold War with the War On Terror. No way he could ever know something like that, but I like challenging people etc. Pretty friendly guy, but, wow, he pretty much does not even believe in the federal govt. I mean he literally thinks everything should be decided by the states. He has some seriously far, far right positions. Even more so than you would think from his ads and reputation. I literally heard him say a few things that blew me away they were so far out there. Gabby should serve us well, a whole lot better than Graf would, without a doubt.

I'm stuck with Governor Goodhair and Senator Bighair... Still, it's great to see large swaths of the nation waking up even if it's still red-state hell here.

I spent many a dark year in my home state of MT, but they are doing pretty well nowadays. Lived two years in Seattle, that was so good I never even thought about politics except during the WTO. Pretty much spoiled me.

That, and Lundgren is the next congressional district over. They are both a tad crazy.

|
with McConnell and Bunning for the next two years. McConnell is the original Prince of Darkness and Bunning is, well, he doesn't even know he is a Senator.
I'm hoping this Democratic tsunami carries on into 2008 where we can get rid of McConnell (and Chucklenuts - oh happy day!) but until then he will still be slinking through the halls of MY government. There is unlimited damage an asswipe like McConnell can do in two years.

21. Hey, at least you don't have Gov. GoodHair, the one with a "resounding" victory |
|
Oh, yeah. :eyes: Apparently "resounding" now equals 40% of the vote. SIXTY PERCENT of Texans did not want that airhead to win, yet his numbers were "resounding." Puh-leaze.
Sorry about Kyl.
