3. Not really - there are not many votes left to count -
MT is large in size but small in population. Looks better than it seems...

BTW NB - thought you were going to sleep???? ;) You are a trooper!

2. What's going on in Bozeman?
If I read the CNN web site rightly, as of 8:20 AM EST none of the precincts there have reported. The county population is around 60,000, so this could be the tie breaker.

6. Beaverhead results came in last night
and you should be able to find them on the cnn and msnbc sites. they had reported 100% before the mysterious recount in yellowstone was called, and there numbers are already figured into the cnn and msnbc sites numbers.

The only one not reporting at all is meagher, and around 3 am-ish a guy who used to live there said it only had about 2000 people total and about half would be elgible to vote, so the most that is gonna come from there is going to be 1000 votes.

it all comes down to those last 45 of yellowstone.

7. Sounds like Jones is Montana's Nader
Jones took just enough votes from Burns to allow Tester to win. Ha HA in Nelson's voice..

10. Or the other way
Independents generally voted against Bush and with the Democrat everywhere else. Tester polled higher, maybe all his Independents voted for this Libertarian instead.

9. Yellowstone is in
100% according to this. I don't think there's enough votes in Meagher County if all of them went to Burns, which isn't likely anyway. I think this is IT!!

15. and just so you guys will know what happened last night
This is the official Yellowstone results last night showing all 69 precints being counted for 100% http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=364&topic_id=2630031&mesg_id=2630128\

Somehow from those official results last night and the "new" official results today there were several thousand extra votes.

Makes no sense at all....shouldnt be possible, since both reports show 100% of precincts reporting and that 69 out of 60 precincts had been counted.......yet somehow there were a crap load extra votes today and instead of Tester wining by 2k he lost by about that much in the county.....hmmmmm

anyway, enjoy :-)
