First Item for the Dem Agenda!
Reform the election process. If we don't take this as our main priority, the repukes will work to steal the 2008 elections. With the wins in Ohio, we need serious investigation and national push to reform HAVA and nationalize the election rules, including voter verified paper trails and nonpartisan election officials, i.e. you cannot be chair of a reelection campaign and sec'y of state.

Who's with me?!?

1. And Get Corporate money
Out of it!!!

We need to publicly fund elections.............

Way cheaper than having them write the bills and loot the treasury!

6. And redistricting - big squares
We need to have districts that are genuinely competative not safe for their candidates or for ours - that game has to stop.

9. Sure, if they can get the Constitution in shape
to begin an Impeachment.

They need to gather evidence, submit to the Grand Jury and start chipping away at the RW power structure.
Just thought of a name for this mission-- 'Indictments-24/7'

8. Raise the minimum wage to $8/hr
No Dem opposes it, it's hugely popular and Bush will be forced to sign it.

10. Retake Control of Our Country's Media--We Own It
After the historical importance of last night's vote, all the excitement and change, the whole country turning back to its Democratic ways, you could turn on the corporate media, (and that includes C-SPAN), and all the same old rich corporate Republican shit "commentators," with all their filth, are still there. I heard TOM DELAY being interviewed as an EXPERT on at least two channels. The polls showed that the number one issue for Americans was Republican corruption (not Iraq), and yet you turn on the media, and hear the same old shit about "taxes," and "too liberal." Get all the old regulation back on the fucking corporate media; they are holding our whole country back now. Get them out of our goddamned way.
