The Idiocy Of The New Radical Right Catch Phrase
We've heard it. We've seen it right here in GD. "America's cities will be lit up." "The terroists now win with Dems in charge."

This is utterly, completely, and abjectly stupid. (Yeah, like that's a surprise, coming from the right wing.)

Why, you say? (Admit it, you were saying "Why?")

If the dems having control of Congress means that Li'l Georgie can't stop the terrorists anymore, it means:

1) He never could and that Congressional Repubs were really in charge.
2) Which means there never was a "unitary executive", since he wasn't running anything.
3) The military and the intelligence community don't really report to Silverspoon and his puppet masters, but must have been accountable to Congress, and will be with Dems in charge.
4) That the "unitary executive" is absolutely powerless without a wholly compliant legislature.
5) Their tough guy, cowboy president is really a toothless tiger.

So, let them toss this silly little catch phrase around! Because when they use it, THEY, not us, are insulting their hero, Silverspoon George. That "clever" little talking point is doing our work for us!

4. However. . .
. . .the repukes held Congress for 7 years prior to 9/11. There was a Republican president in the White House at the time, and there still is.

This only adds to the idiocy. The REPUBS DIDN'T PROTECT US AT THE TIME!

5. Those that throw out that line forget one thing.
When they say "the Terrorists will attack America now that the Dems are in charge", they are really saying:

"We want America to be hit again to prove we were right."

How sad that they desire the deaths of more Americans to prove a political point.

6. They also forget that the terrorists HAVE attacked with THEM in charge.
All their counting starts on 9/12/01.
