Let's send the Dems drape catalogs

Last week, Olbermann brought up the pre-civil war assault and battery case where a southern congressman beat the shit out of an abolitionlist and managed to break his cane off on the man's head. Southerners gifted him with hundreds of new canes.

Let's put a positive turn on this one. I say we send the Dems samples for drapes, carpets, and other office decorations. Since the gays are on our side (at least the ones not in the closet), at least we know it'll be tasteful. :)

I'm picking out some now to send tonight. I'm also going to subscribe them to some nice Bed, Bath and Beyond catalogs. Should be able to call them up and get them registered.
