The Doctor is OUT. The Frist fiasco has left the Senate. |

1. Yeah, but his replacement is not any better |
|
Corker will use the Senate to pad his own pocket in ways that will make Frist look like a choir boy. While not enamored with Ford, he at least has some semblence of being a statesman.

2. That's ok by me, Corker is probably a one termer. He's no Frist. |

Corker will fleece the state and the country for as much as he can possible get by with and then get out - a la Fred Thompson.
Ford will be back and hopefully his views will have moderated by then. If he does, then he can take down Alexander with no problem.

4. A Corker with little power is better than a bloviating Frist |

Best trade we could get, I'll take it.
