Big Winner Yesterday: BILL CLINTON
Sestak, Patrick, Cuomo, Hillary all with wins...and don't forget Bill was out there campaigning like the big dog he is every single day. He came to Virginia to support Webb two times, once at the very end, and I'm personally grateful for that. I salute you Mr. President!!!

:kick:

1. Bigger Winner: HILLARY Clinton
Potential scenario a la Tweety:

Dems win Senate

Hillary makes deal with Harry Reid

Hillary becomes First Female Senate Majority Leader

Hillary runs for President

Hillary becomes First Female President

29. I think Tweety's point was that Hillary becomes Majority Leader
and doesn't run for president in '08, but maybe at some later date.

35. Why would Harry make a deal?
And what other Dem senator would go along with it? Please. Tweety is a jerk.

7. Bill ...
Bill started this whole movement with slamming Wallace on Fox news. He gave us that adrenaline push just when we needed it.

I fully believe that if he had been able to camapaign more in the last Presidential election, things could have been different, and welcome to DU!

15. Bill had little to do with people voting out the Refucklicans.
no matter how the Clintons want to take credit for it, it simply is false.

26. Bill Clinton is a great campaigner...
I'm not disparaging Kerry, I'm saying it COULD HAVE helped him, that's all. Don't read anything else into it.

8. I loved reading the Freepers say that where ever Clinton went, Dems would loose.
Too funny. Just because they have a pathological hatred doesn't meant the other 70% of the country doesn't long for real leadership.

24. Oh, please. The man must be full of himself if he thinks he won this
for us- bullshit, bullshit, bullshit. No one, and I mean no one has done more this election than Kerry- period. Favors if they are needed will be called in by Kerry- not a has been former presidnent that needs to retire and stop grabbing the headlines from other Dem's.

28. The thread was more about...
Clinton era people winning their races, but Clinton does deserve a lot of credit for his campaign, maybe it made the difference, maybe it didn't, but he did his part and then some in my opinion.

19. BULLSH*T. kERRY campaigned and gave money for all of these candidates
long before Clinton came out and did anything. IMO, he gets absolutely zilch amount of credit for just showing up.

23. Isn't that a bit harsh?
Did you see the audiences wooing his every word?

He still carries a LOT of weight among Dems AND moderate Republicans.

I am sure that he helped.
