7. That particular one makes me so happy!
I really thought McPherson would win; we had to work hard even here in ultra-liberal Santa Cruz County, because he was thought of as a moderate Repub when he was here, and he had a lot of local support (used to own the local paper).

She also didn't have a lot of money or campaign visibility literature; her signs yesterday were small and kind of scarce, at least at our office.

So happy for Debra! This was an important race for us.
