1. He really thought he had it, didn't he...
He's going to have to see his dentist today, he's going to have severe jaw pain from biting down so hard to keep from crying.
Pity? Nope.
Just observation.
:nopity:

Shouldn'ta put the crying kids on camera though. That's just too low...and that's NOT a 'Kodak moment' you want recorded and splashed all over...
crying your eyes out because Daddy got his ass whomped in the election. x(

...or do you suppose this was a "Mrs. Alito" moment...?
wouldn't surprise me, tell ya the truth...:puke:

5. The kid is crying because...
Mommy and Daddy have been telling her all year that if Daddy got thrown out by the Democrats, she would be sold into sex slavery and end up a drugged out blood sacrifice to the Goddess of Liberalism and that if she was a good girl, and prayed really hard to the One True God of Conservatism, Daddy would win and could hold back the heathen. :eyes:

9. Leave that poor kid alone!
She's crying because her Daddy lost. Any young girl in that situation (Republican or Democrat) would do the same thing. Maybe they shouldn't have brought the kids out (one of the sons looked like he was crying too) if they were that upset. Bash Santorum all you want, but leave the kids alone.

14. yeah
I truly feel sorry for his kids, because imagine what screwed-up lives they lead with those whacky parents. Those little minds are poisoned and I'm sure this little girl has had it drilled to her that she's no use to the world save as breeding stock when she grows up.

21. totally agree
She loves her daddy. That's normal, even if he's a right-wing, scum-sucking freak. Bash HIM for
hiding his sorry ass behind his children. The little girl is just acting out of normal emotions.

Why put them through that?

20. I cannot believe I am going to say this
But I feel sorry for those kids--they can't help it that they are being paraded around by the parents and I am sure that young girl is actually upset.

Not trying to be a lecturesome pain, but Sanitarium's kids really ARE kids and I think people should cut them some slack (now Jenna and that rancid sister of hers are a whole other matter...they are adults)

23. I agree.. leave the kids out of it.
DUers shouldn't be making fun of those poor kids, and Santorum should have left them out of it. Kids have no perspective of politics... they only know that daddy is essentially fired from his job. When the kids grow up, they may not look kindly at the parents for allowing them to be a spectacle, when privacy was the best call last night. When they saw that the kids were losing it, they should have been ushered away by a grandma or friend, so they could watch, but grieve, in private. Perhaps the parents never took the time to give the "if daddy loses it's not the end of the world" speech.
