Sanders Should Declare Himself a Dem to Off-set Any Danger From Loserman

Bernie Sanders can offset any danger of Loserman defecting to the Republicans by changing party to the dems.

1. Why would it matter? He's caucusing with Dems anyway
Besides, it's a matter of conscience for Bernie which is one of the reasons he's so well loved.

3. One can only hope
I hope that Bernie does the right thing... He generally does.

4. Not necessary
As long as he caucuses with the dems and doesn;t defect to the GOP side on votes -- which is highly unlikely -- Bernie will already offset any damage Joe might do.

Also, as an independent, Bernie has more power over the Democrats than he would as a full fledged Democrat. They can;t take him for granted.

His independence is one of the reasons Bernie is Bernie. That will also be good for the Democrats.

5. Your joking right?
" Bernie will already offset any damage Joe might do". Have you not been paying attention to the threads? Lieberman is caucusing with the Dem's! Slamming just for the sake of slamming is just wrong! :eyes:

6. I hope you are right
But I'd trust Joe as far as I can throw him.

Joe is a narcisstic schmuck. He'll do whatever is good for Joe, and to hell with everyone else.

Edited on Wed Nov-08-06 11:02 AM by emulatorloo
It doesn't matter if Lieberman rides Bush's Show Pony on the Iraq War. Nobody cares. We are done with that circus.

Lieberman will vote w Dems on social issues as he always has.
