He and Schumer are right out front with the media giving them (and notably NOT Howard Dean) ALL the credit for the Dem wins yesterday.
They selected a slight few races they helped with, railroaded liberal candidates out and were even getting credit for Webb and Tester whom both of them were against as the Democratic candidates.
Not to mention they didn't lift a finger to help Lamont in a tight race there.
The Democrats won because of the Dean strategy. This was his first election cycle as head of the DNC and it's safe to say he got the job done.
Now if the media would only realize that and stop propping up the Washington insiders who only supported a very few amongst the candidates.

He says it's the first time since 1938 that Dems didn't lose a seat they were holding or an open seat. That is HUGE:toast:

who would have won Illinois 6 Now we have a Republican there. He usurped the will of the people in that District! It was unforgivable to bring in an out of district candidate, no matter how attractive he thought she might be and oust a hard working, established grassroots candidate. There will be bad will there for a long time over this. I will never forget his arrogance and deceit.
edit: Obviously that kind of thing doesn't really matter to you guys, I am really amazed at how adaptable people's ethics are in these matters. Fuck it, it's OK for the good of the party-well it's not OK!
