Murtha live on Bloomberg
Edited on Wed Nov-08-06 11:14 AM by still_one
saying that he will be pushing his Iraq resolution for redeployment

he said the news media has just been repeating the administrations talking points on Iraq without any accountability

Murtha calling for Rumsfeld resignation because it was so mismanaged

MURTHA SAID WE WILL HAVE ACCOUNTABILITY HEARINGS, NOT RUBBER STAMPING

The media is trying to tell Murtha it does NO GOOD TO LOOK BACK, Murtha is telling the MEDIA IT
DOES MATTER

now they are telling Murtha, but you don't have a plan, Murtha is telling them WHAT DO YOU THINK MY RESOLUTION IS?

The media are really IDIOTS?

3. I heard Murtha say he thinks he's got the votes to become Majority leader...
Stenny Hoyer will be up against Murtha.

4. One thing he said is that they WILL HAVE HEARINGS ON IRAQ
He recognizes that they have been given a mandate from the people, and IT IS ABOUT IRAQ

No one should make any mistake about that

5. He was great
this is just what we have wanted, begged them to say for years now! He really gave it them, he didn't let them keep at their talking points but set the record straight: we DO have a plan and they have no right to sit there and talk about staying, no right at all.

6. You saw it on Bloomberg also?
I wish this was on the other media outlets

It was direct straight talk

No hedging

7. Yes, I saw it too
He's going to be a great spokesperson for us. He didn't let then get away with their usual talking points. They seemed truly shocked that he directed his ire at them. I think we'll be seeing a lot of him and can't wait to see him take down Wolfie and gang. This is really a new day.
