Last night I kept my eyes on the elections results closely, and every time a Dem was recorded as winning another seat, I senced increase dread.

I do not believe this is good for the country, in fact, I believe this will cause a fast downward spiral that will bring us into the rapture. And although I am looking forward with great anticipation to that day, Maranatha, I am not looking forward to the very dark days ahead. The New House Majority Leader is so liberal that I am surprised she doesn't hand the country over to the terrorists on a silver platter. I know that she is ready to hand the economy over with out a second thought. She stated not too long ago that one of the first things the House would do would be to seek to repeal the Bush Tax Cuts. That would be devistating for the Middle Class. The Tax Cuts are one of the few good things that have happened economically in the last 6 years. She wants to bring back the Marriage penalty, and to reduce by half the child tax credit. That would cut by more than half of most of the tax cuts the Middle Class have gained in our country. I know that it would very much devistate my family. She also wants to be extreemly liberal on immigration, she wants to fully implement the 9-11 commissions recommendations (and repealing the tax cuts is how she plans on funding it). She is very liberal with spending, and my pockets aren't deep enough for her tastes.

I will be watching everything very very very closely from now on! I feel like Goldie Hawn did in that movie she did where she was recruited by the state department. Remember when she said that she was "we the people" and that she was going to be watching every one of them? Well, I will be, and I will not hold silent. I will voice my opinions loud, even if I have to email, write, phone, etc etc etc etc..... every week, every day, to make sure that those in Congress know that I am watching and that I will not be made silent.

As for the Senate..... I can not believe my own Home State of VA.... To elect Jim Webb is outragious. He has written some very sick sick sick stuff in his novels. He degrades women, he degrades children, he has written very perverted sex acts, including homosexuality and utter sadistic things to women. No, I have not read the entire novels he has written, but I have read excerts from them. I will be watching him very carefully.

I will pray nightly, for the Presidents guidance, and for Gods hand to be placed in our leaders hearts. I am sore afraid that now that the Dem's are in office that the economy will take a downslide and that our countries morality and values will become sorely lacking. I am afraid that our countries support for Gods children will fade and that his favor with it.

Pray, and watch, and make sure that they know we are watching.

Well regardless I do welcome gridlock, least they are less likley to hurt me in the pocket book. But here is the deal the left wing of the democratic party in in control and they have been waiting for a chance to impeach Bush as payback as they are so blinded by rage and hatred of him over 2000 and 2004.Also remember another point it will be much easier for terrorists now to do there dirty work as Bush will be hamstrung by Congress.

I vote values first as well as party platform. Which politician and party that supports my values. Sweep away the smoke and mirrors and what they do rather than what they say as well as party platform is what you'll see.

PS I usually vote Republican but would've voted for Lieberman for example. There are others.

I am real shocked that Claire McCaskill won even with her scandals. She got most of her votes from St.Louis City ( I am not surprised by that part though ). It looked like Talent was going to win up til the very end until the St.Louis votes were counted. I am also deeply saddened that the Amendment 2 passed (stem cell). One good thing though is that more Republicans won the state senate and the U.S. House. It was very close. Missouri is divided. I thank God that the county I live in is moral. As far as St.Louis City, very godless imo.

I'm pretty sure that Jesus would want her to open her eyes--and to start living and helping
