1. Choose From Either Column A or Column B.....
... A is don't count the provisional ballots and the present Webb lead holds up; or

... B count the provisional ballots, primarily from Webb strongholds, and increase Webb's lead.

Either way, Allen does not improve his position.

2. Allen Is Gonna Drag down the RNC...
... over negotiations for the most cushy K Street job?

Wow. Someone get on the red phone to KKKarl, and let him know that Allen is making the unkindest cut of all.

3. Allen as Lobbyist? No. Allen as Inmate? Yeah, that's the ticket....
Not all fraud is just civil, with a large fine. Some fraud of the public leads to criminal charges, if it was wilful, intentional and followed up with attempts to cover it up --maybe lie to investigators or under oath.

I just do not see Allen being welcomed by any Lobbying firm, or any member on the Hill, not in this environment where the focus is on cutting ties with lobbyists and legislation AND renewed ethical rules and investigations.

What do you think he will say if subpoenoed and placed under oath to testify?
Will he lie b/c he thinks he can get away with it? THat is taking a big risk.
WHat if he invokes his 5th Amendment privilege not to testify?

I would say his career on the Hill will be over shortly, and if he manages to stay out of prison that will be a miracle.

4. I Agree with You, But...
... Felix is shrewd, and word is he's negotiating hard with the establishment, right now, for a soft landing.

5. When they learn what's headed his way-- "We don't know much about him"
Bush will not even recognize him! LOL
