34. Gore would never run with Hillary

There was friction between them in the Clinton White House.

49. Theres been alot of water under the bridge since then..
Gore is a changed person since the 00' debacle.
Lieberman hoodwinked Gore into thinking he should
distance himself from the Clintons after WJC offered
his help. Gore realizes now, that was a mistake.

I can envision everyone getting along just fine.
Why wouldn't they? Gore has the advantage of having
a live-in Presidential Mentor, Hillary holding a
high stakes position as VP with a tie-breaking vote
in the Senate and Tipper is First Lady.

What part of that deal couldn't you like?

I like Win-Win deals...

7. Me, too.
Gore would be my top choice, but I can easily go with Edwards or Clark.

Perhaps with Obama, Boxer or Feingold on the ticket?

Who knows who will come forward.

15. Actually, Gore is my first choice too--
But I highly doubt he will run.

My favorite ticket would be Gore/Clark.

I chose Edwards/Clark, as I truly believe we would win with this ticket.

17. Because a
Gore/Clark or Edwards/Clark is an all Southern ticket; and I'm sorry, but the reality is, the South is important to a Presidential victory.

Rendell
Dean

The biggest reason I am against Hillary Clinton is that I oppose nepotism....look where it got us. The biggest reason I am against Edwards is that he's slick. Obama in 2016, he'll be incredible when he's around sixty.......

I know, no Rock Stars among them, and that hurts........

25. There actually is some truth in the comment
I think when you are in power as a senator you have to do new calculus now. You can not run against the evil empire when you are in the majority.

For example an HRC candidacy with the Dems leading both houses is a wet dream for repuke fundraisers. And I think makes it very hard for us think )and for her to think that) she can win. She had a better shot if the GOP had kept the Senate.

47. I have the same dream!!!
:applause:

RFKJr was the best speaker at the Democratic Convention 2004 IMO- He was so articulate and had so many important things to say, he made the others look like cheerleaders.

And Kucinich, that goes without saying. He has been the one leading the effort against the war in Iraq, the war in Iran and just about every other bad policy of Bushco. He Deserves the leadership of this country, because he has been a leader, not a follower.

38. Clark-Obama!
Need the top of the ticket to be able to whoop McCain or Giuliani or Romney or Brownback asses on National Security......and that would only be Clark

More so since Ford's loss, I doubt that Obama can get to the Presidency except for via the VP route.

Since Clark's a Southern General, having Barack Hussein Obama on as Veep would inoculate Obama from much of any criticism in reference to his name, race, inexperience and midwestern roots.

I realize that it's an unlikely ticket at best, but a part of me has been hoping for it since the '04 "election" ended. I think we could see something like Clark-Edwards, and I'd be happy with that.
