I'll go first. We need longer hours and/or more days to vote nation wide. Opening the polls from 6 to 6 just doesn't cut it when people are working long hours, two jobs or have a monster commute. We also need to make registering something you can do at the mall on a Saturday.

2. The mail ballot is intriguing but scary for those of us who
haven't seen it. Does it work like an automatic absentee ballot?

I'd like to throw in a good word for the Compact between the states that would by-pass the Electoral College when/if enough states sign up.

3. Make every vote count
Get rid of the antiquated electoral college, then maybe folks in staunchly red states will have more motivation to get out and vote. The winner takes all system is not compatible with modern voting.

5. Disallow the placement of state amendments
on ballots the day of a presidential election. If the people of a state want to vote on some Draconian amendment in July (or any other month) of an election year, fine. But these should not be tied in with presidential elections.

6. That's not fiscally possible
Printing ballots, paying poll workers, etc. Who would pay for it? And why?
