screw "bi-partisanship"...we WON! |
|
we need to take the repug tack of "to the victors go the spoils"- as soon as they lose their iron-grip on power, they cry for "bi-partisanship"- i say FUCK'EM- THEY changed the rules and the way things are done in D.C., and now they should have to live by them. They scoffed at any idea of bi-partisan action when they held the power- why should we aquiese to them now? as soon as they manage to steal the power back, they'll just shit on us again...why does our side continually take it- and then beg for more?
GROW SOME FUCKING BALLS- and START THE FUCKING INVESTIGATIONS ON DAY FUCKING ONE

1. We don't want to be SCARY. Like NEWT. Geez, look at recent history. |
|
We don't have to be displaying our "fucking balls" to be effective.
The smart politicians smile, and speak gently, behave graciously, and stick the shiv in quietly.
So they can't figure out what hit them.
From Day Fucking One.

2. i think that you give this crew too much credit. |
|
before you can quietly stick the shiv in, you have to know which end is the pointy one- and i'm not convinced that these congressional dems have quite figured that one out. the repugs, on the other hand, will be spending the next two years sharpening and practicing with theirs, and all the time goading the dems into exposing their soft bi-partisan bellies.

5. Well, I disagree. Check how Newt did it...he came in, declared a |

revolution, strutted like he owned the place, fucked his staffer on the conference table, got BJs under his desk, cheated on his wife so badly that his own STAFF ratted him out, all while excoriating Clinton, and "Where Is He Now?" Desperately trying to get a place at the table, hoping that people might forget his past bad behavior.
These Congressional Dems are plenty smart. They're smart enough to have held their fire, not acted like pouty, childish assholes, and smart enough to have 234. Which works for me.
And any GOP turd doing any goading will look, now more than ever, like a childish ass.
The adults are back in charge....both in the legislature, and at the White House. I'd never think that I'd be pleased that George's DADDY had the Monkey by the ear, forcing him to fire Rummy, hire his old CIA pal, and listen to Jim Baker.
But even those marginal leaders of the post-Reagan era are fucking STATESMEN compared to the crew we have now in the executive branch. And any leadership, even the shoddy leadership of Bush One, is welcome in the White House. At least they know how to compromise.
