Bi-partisan curious, that it. There's suddenly a hot debate on what kind of approach the Democrats will take with BushCo and the House Minoritie(s). Personally, I'm very curious if we can make US Politics a bi-partisan process again. It wasn't just that we got out-voted, or that we got out-smarted by the Repubs. It was that they locked us out of discussions; they villified bi-partisan exchanges; they legislated against fair process; they bullied the public, the media and the people; they chose dictatorship over democracy. There's nothing right about that and we'd be hypocritical to adopt the same policy.
In the end, the results were flawed because the process itself was corrupt.
When the Dems get in there, the process has to be restored to the kind of Democratic system of checks and balances that won't allow this again. Dems have to make as much or more of an issue out of restoring the process that was abused and marginalized by the Republican stranglehold. If the Dems lead by example, offer a fair opportunity an exchange of ideas, then the issues will take care of themselves.
Make no mistake: the Chimp thinks that bi-partisan politics means Democrats agreeing with his policy. That's not what I'm talking about here. Just fair process.

And they tried to take away the right to get an abortion afterwards.
Let's just move on some easy targets and see if the R's can get with the program. If they make like nice little Dumbos we'll see about getting them peanuts.

Dems need to cater to AMERICA!!!
Offer up REAL solutions, by authoring legislation that makes this country a better place and Washington less corrupt and corporate-owned.
Set an agenda that kow tows to America. Take it to the American people and they will fall in LOVE with it!!! Offer REAL tax cuts to the middle class. End the lavish tax gifts to millionaires. Protect our ports. Spy on the terrorists, not us. End wasteful spending. End corruption. Protect the pages. Craft a plan to extricate FEMA from the lumbering Homeland Security. Bring back the bin Laden CIA unit. Protect our borders. End lobbying corruption and vote buying!!!
DO IT UP, DEMS!!!!! Make serious, thoughtful change that America NEEDS, WANTS and LOVES--and DARE JUNIOR TO VETO IT!!!!
We must do this! Our time is now!
