This country WAS the Titanic for the past six years.

Why did the Titanic sink? Because people were ignorant. Full of themselves. Arrogant.
People died on the Titanic, because the elitists were not prepared for reality. They deluded
themselves into thinking that they were superior and invulnerable.

Then, when something really terrible happened---they had NO PLAN to avoid disaster--or to get
out of the disaster. Thousands of innocents died.

So yes lady...our country was the Titanic for a while. We did hit an iceberg, and we sank in
troubled waters for six, God-awful, perverse years.

But sweetheart, this is your lucky day. A beautiful, safe, reasonable ship has docked in
America's port. Take my hand, jump on and savor how smart, solution-oriented and dignified this
trip will be.

There are enough lifeboats for EVERYONE if we hit troubled waters.
