Are The Networks EVER Going To Call Senate For Democrats?
They're resisting, despite the fact the vote totals show clear victories by Webb & Tester.

I think they are going to help the repubs try to steal one or both of those seats, by declaring "too close to call," and gaining time to figure a way out of their mess.

If Webb won, and Tester won, then the Democrats will be in control of BOTH houses, and the networks have yet to make that official.

WHAT ARE THEY WAITING FOR?

1. They called Montana for Tester a few minutes ago...
Virginia, unfortuantely, will be a while.

5. WHY Will Virginia Be Awhile??
It didn't stop King george from declaring victory in '00 or '04.

RECOUNT MY ASS!!!

Webb is several thousand points ahead, and is the presumed winner, barring anything showing fraud on his part.

I think they're up to something, and the similarities to 2000 concern me.

If they knew it might come down to this, don't you imagine they've been prepared for whatever is about to come in VA and/or MT?

7. Because Virginia law demands a recount...
yeah, Webb's ahead by a few thousand votes, but it's still within the 1% that means an automatic recount.

Look, it's all funny for us to laugh and yell "just get over it!" at the Allen campaign, since that's what the GOP did to us in the last two presidential-year elections. But in the end, this is a matter of Virginia law. I don't mind the recount. I welcome the recount. I want there to be no question that Allen was beaten fair and square.

8. And you think they would DO a recount "fair and square"??
If they get their way in this, they'll probably pull some stunt that makes the Miami Courthouse Riot in 2000 look like a Mormon church picnic by comparison. The pigs are far more desperate now than they were in Florida in 2000. Because then they merely wanted all the power. Now they need to hold on to it.

9. Um ... it's not up to the GOP to do the recount...

The governor of Virginia, Democrat Tom Kaine, appointed the Secretary of State -- or, to be accurate -- Secretary of the Commonwealth, Katherine Hanley.

There is no Katherine Harris this time. There is no Blackwell this time. The Democrats are in charge. So, yes, it will be "fair and square." And Allen will lose.

2. If they do, no one will watch their commercials.
They'll only report the results when they absolutely have to.

6. Only kicking, screaming and dragging. If the results were reversed,
they'd would have called it 2 minutes after the polls closed.
