on same-sex marriage? Once they pass the amendment, what bait will they use to lure their voters out of their holes in Wisconsin, South Carolina, Tennessee, Idaho and Virginia for the Presidential election in 2008? It's a small consolation, I know.
Edited to correct my confusion of North Carolina with South Carolina

went even more Blue last night - we're the last bastion of holdout in between VA, TN and SC.
I hope all those states bleed pink & purple dollars right into ours.

amendments to attract voters realize they are simultaneously repelling investment by large corporations? What company wants to deal with racism when the can go some place else and not have that hassle?

Or, in any case, the brown ones that speak Spanish.
First they came for the gays.... Then the illegal immigrants... Then the legal immigrants...
And when they finally came for me, there was nobody left to speak up.
We'll have a country run by the Peniscostals and Crystal-Methodists.
