I expected the win in the House. The Senate was a complete surprise. Sure, I expected to pick up a seat or four in the Senate but to end up with a majority - that is sweet. The only downside is we have to fellate Lieberman and hope that the Chimporer doesn't decide to ditch Rumsfeld (which he needs to do) and replace him with Lieberman (which he needs to not do).

Thank goodness I drank enough water with my celebratory wine last night because there was much celebrating.

The Corporate Media Whores are now saying that we need to kiss and make up with the President. Uh-huh. You can kiss my lilly white ass, Georgie Poo. Go back to your brush farm and clear some more brush. We'll let you know when the articles of impeachment are ready, fucker. And your articles will not be revenge for the crap you guys have pulled for six years, they will instead be because you pissed on the Constitution every chance you got and now it's time to reign you in, take you down and send you and Dickie boy to the Hague. Your presidency and it's so called mandate is over, sucka. We're about to show you exactly what a mandate looks like!

Now, a word to the Republicans out there. We in the majority will act towards you very differently from the way you acted towards us. We will protect your lives and livlihood. We won't demand that you conform to a single and decidedly crazy evangelical form of Christianity. Hell, we won't even demand that you be religious at all. We really will try to leave no child behind and will try to fix the mess in our healthcare system for you. We will dismantle the eavesdropping program because that was never about terrorism. We will get your rights back to you though you were so willing to give them away for an illusion of freedom. We will hold our leaders to high standards and if they succumb to the kind of corruption that your side did, we will reign them in, as you should have with your leaders.

In other words, we will treat you with the kind of respect that you should have treated us with. Well, tomorrow we will. Today, we are going to jump all over your stupid asses for continuing to support a dangerous fascist regime, you fucking morons.
