The democratic victories yesterday are tempered for gays by the results on the referenda. We lost all but one and only won the one we did due to it having targetted heterosexuals as well. It was a decidedly mixed bag for us.
We can turn this into a total victory. We need to push for ENDA and hate crimes. The public agrees with us on this. ENDA would be a huge victory. Hate crimes a symbolic one. No more homeruns, we should go for a nice solid double. ENDA and hate crimes is that double. It is time to turn the playing field into one that tips to our side.

that, have already made it clear that we need to continue to wait our turn, which will be sometime around the year 2247. After all liberty and equality would've come to Rosa Parks eventually. She really didn't need to break the law by sitting in the front of the bus.:crazy:
