9. fax or call a few if possible. i've been told emails aren't as

powerful as a phone call or a fax.

(i disconnected my fax machine a few years ago, put it away in a closet. and dragged it out last night, hooked it up--i've been working on faxes all day and last night. 2, 3, four times. i can't remember how much it costs--i'm hoping not more than a one minute call to these long distance numbers. i was on the phone making long distance calls the other night until three in the morning--getting so groggy i was afraid i would tell them to vote for alito! but i was calling the capitol numbers; when those mailboxes were full i went to their state offices.)

use those toll free capitol numbers to fill up the senate mailboxes. (offhand i don't have that number--it's in the other room. let me know if you need it.)
