Seems to me Cheney has been made extremely vulnerable.
If Congressional Dems investigate the use of phoney info to take us to war wouldn't Jim Baker accept Cheney getting thrown under the bus in order to cover Sonnyboy's screw-up?

I think there may be reason to believe the R's would go along with forcing out Dickie The Shooter.

3. Cheney will resign for "health reasons"
He's already bought an estate in MD right near Rummy's. He closed on it last year DURING Katrina.

11. I hadn't thought of that.
I keep thinking that Idiot Son is going to have to bail out due to "health problems," but that would leave Cheney. Maybe everyone is afraid of the possibility of Cheney as Prez and the R's would try to force Dickie The Shooter (I love that name:rofl:) out before that might happen.

12. If we win Virginia for real, he is irrelevant
except for his secret activities involving the executive powergrab. Don't know what can be done there.

He'll like it under the bus. he's a regular guttersnipe.

So I immagine Cheney is here for the duration.

Since he has no constitutional power the WH can start ignoring him any time. (Before Gore VPs seldom even saw the president)

15. He'll stick it out in his bunker
He thinks he can ride it out, he's got nothing to lose by trying, he's gonna die anyways,
and by running, they'll hunt him down and squish him, not as in harm to his person, but
more like a cockroach.

16. That might be why Darth went hunting. He's armed and ready.
That creature is the most paranoid person on the planet, but in this case, he may be right. Daddy and Baker are taking over. Darth may be resigning "for health reasons" soon.
