Media and some Dem leaders are spinning - Voters aren't demanding bipartisanship |
|
the voters are most angry about CORRUPTION as evidenced in the exit polls.
So why the constant drumbeat of bipartisanship and reaching out to Bush with no more mentions of the fact that voters want CORRUPTION dealt with as a priority issue?
Dems are being told by media and their 'leaders' to behave while voters told them last night to INVESTIGATE and EXPOSE the CORRUPTION.

2. We don't have the gavels just yet... |
|
...but I do agree. The "message" was loud and clear, and it appears some people heard it, at least enough to know to shuffle the scenery around and make a good show of some last minute cover ups...

3. I haven't heard any Dem leader say anything of what you just posted. |
|
You can have bipartisanship, and still investigate which in turn will expose the corruption.

4. You have to win with humility...and that is something the Repukes |

know nothing about. Give it a few days. We aren't in office until January and there's plenty of things in the wings that will bring all that back up.
We're waiting for the "Ethics" committee's report on Foley, the Iraq report, information on Halliburton, etc. If all that comes out between now and January, then that will be all the fire that is needed to come into office with guns blazing.

5. I SO agree! I'm not up for any "reconciliatory gestures" with the a$$hats |
|
unlike John McCain, I don't kiss up to those who abused and swiftboated and purple-bandaided and left me to drown and starve in NOLA.
Fuck "bipartisanship"--you're just not going to get off that EASY.

7. Yeah, what the hell is up with that? I was screaming at NBC last night.... |
|
hearing all that horseshit.
They think (yeah, sure they do) that because some of our candidates are conservatives this year that that means the people want us all to make pretty little happypies together. Bullcrap in their collective eyeball I say! The people clearly did not like all the horrible stuff Bush was doing, and they want dems to impede him.
