DU is so close to 100,000 registered!!

1. And how many people have we helped sway?

I can't start posts yet, but please think about this:
I came here more or less in the beginning, when the dark days of 2001 were starting. I knew what was wrong with our country, but it didn't look like we could fix it. I found other people who thought like I did here. I found people like me. Every week I read the Top 10, and often posted it around to other people who might not have known about various Republican scandals, follies, etc. It took a long time, but people eventually listened to what we all knew all along. I never quit the fight, even after the horrible robberies of 2004, and we all kept up the fight together. Howard Dean was on our side, and helped orchestrate this sweeping blue tide! We've won both houses, and I've no doubt we'll pick the perfect pair in 08 to elect so we can continue getting our country back together.
But what's gonna happen to US, as a group?
We may have won, and we will win in 08, but will the DU continue to fucntion as it does now? We're NOT THE UNDERGROUND ANYMORE!
No matter how good things get, no matter how many elections we win, I'll never want to lose the various friends I've met, chatted with, and read various posts by. Let's all promise each other that we were together when it was hard times, but let's always stick together, even if we're just enjoying the good times.
