26. stroke personality

is more often a result of many tiny strokes in the brain in which small bits of it, uh, lose function. People just get dizzy and mildly sick to their stomach, things like that, from tiny strokes. Some people get the 'personality' after perceptible, fall down and get taken to the ER kinds of strokes, but the many tiny strokes is the more usual route.

13. He's seeing the end of his career.
With the shameless whoring he's done for Bush on Iraq, unless they pull off some kind of victory there, his political career is at a dead end.

20. John, John, does your word mean nothing?
You said you'd commit suicide if the Dems took control of both houses. Do you need a cup of hemlock? The loan of a shotgun? Are you not a man of your word?

You thought it was a pretty safe "joke" to make when you made it, didn't you? So sorry to burst your bubble.

Oh, and you can forget about your Presidential aspirations, too. So all the pandering, sucking up, and toadying you've been doing for the last six years is totally down the shitter.

Ask the Shrub if you can have your balls back now.

25. McCain has a very extreme view on Iraq
He thinks we need to expand the size of the military, and add tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of troops into Iraq. He has no plan for it. Nothing based in reality. He does not know where we are going to get them, how it will be done or how it will be paid for. He is purely, and wildly, speculating it will do some good. He says it like he truly believes it could happen. I've listened to the guy a lot on this. Then I started looking at some of his foreign policy positions over time. On Iraq the guy is downright delusional, on everything else he is nearly as bad. Somewhere along the line, probably because of his definitely heroic military history, McCain has been able to fool people into thinking he knows something about foreign policy. He doesn't. Not much anyway. And, he is so radical that in 2000, Bill Kristol endorsed him over Bush.

he has an old, old view of the world and foreign policy. I hate saying somebody is nuts, but damn, I seriously wonder about McCain. On Iraq, he sounds completely batshit, it is embarrassing.
