Investigate war profiteering first, NOT impeachment
the public will back us if we are just looking into war profiteers. To my generation, war profiteers are teasonous.

Don't say we are going after Bush and Cheney but you know that is where it will lead.

Bring the country along with us on this fight to save our country from these mad men.

Remember, many people took Clinton's side when he was impeached because they felt the GOP was not treating him fairly. We DO NOT want that to happen here.

2. Yep, I think that is the direction in which the new...
leadership will go. Hold the shrub administration accountable, that is what this election was all about.

6. Right, we must investigate first.
That's the proper approach. You're right about the Clinton impeachment. Most people looked at it as a political witch hunt, which is exactly what it was.

10. I'm relieved to hear that. . .
in many ways it is the thing I am most pissed about and if you look at many of the corruption charges, many (all?) and involving defense contractors. You just know it has cost us millions of dollars while the fat cats just get fatter. (Read Imperial Life in the Emerald City about Bremer at al in the green zone. It will make you so mad!)

(oh, yeah, I know it's "treasonous" sorry, typing too fast in my excitment today. And thanks for not pointing it out...as if)

13. Yes. This is a winner for the Dems
as moderates are pissed off about this as much as anyone.
Exit polls showed that corruption was on the minds of 80% of voters.

8. Not a bad idea.
Time to take the profit out of starting wars and killing innocent people, and the best way to do it is to take the profit out of it.

9. I agree
We need to bring out the truth, and not make the same mistake that the Republicans made in 1998. If Bush gets impeached, it will only be AFTER the information gets out...and given Bush's penchant for secrecy, I'm pessimistic that we will actually see those documents. Going after war-related issues should be our first priority. Then, we should go after everything else, from Cheney's secret energy task-force, to Jeff Gannon's access to the White House.

11. We are not free. This needs to be addressed.
People are currently being held without charge. People are currently being spied on without warrant. People are being tortured, denied counsel, and denied trial. Can't wait forever playing politics.
