Today's a good day for a resolution! Ok diet, time to begin! How bout you?

I'm not big on New Year's resolutions. What are the stats...someting like 90% of them crash and burn within the first few months. Yet there is something in the air, something about how the stars are lined up, or maybe just the sweet taste of a BIG BLUE WAVE sweeping the rethugs from power. Whatever it is, I feel energized in a new way! We purged the House and the Senate ; time to balance the body. Of course, there are lots of political resolutions. But after all we have been through, I'll claim this one for myself. 18 pounds to lose.

And today's a great day to begin! I'll be at my goal weight by the time Nancy is sworn in as Madam Chairwoman.
